All of our cold processed soaps are 100% handmade from scratch, just like granny used to make. We use a combination of water, lye, and various oils. After the soaps are completed they no longer contain any lye, this is because when you combine the lye water combination with the oils, it causes a chemical reaction that turns the oils into soap. We handpick all of our oils, using only the ones that will produce a bar of soap that will lather well, smell wonderful, and leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. These soaps are much gentler on your skin than many of the soaps in stores that typically contain harsh detergents.
This soap is made from a high quality glycerine soap base. It is made with 100% natural vegetable oils and contains no harsh detergents, sulfates, surfacants, or alcohol.
